Silverettes® are made from high quality 925 sterling silver. They are durable and long lasting, withstanding regular use and proper care for years to come. Some imitations are only silver coated (as seen in the image), made with nickel (a common allergen), or made from pure silver (which is very delicate and damages easily). They can be made from less durable materials and have a shorter lifespan.
Safety Standards and Research and Development
Silverette® cups are a registered medical device*, produced in a medical facility in Italy and are upheld to strict regulatory guidelines and standards. The Silverette® brand invests in research and development to continually improve their products to ensure they meet the needs of mothers. Other branded cups may not be produced in high grade facilities, meet safety requirements or be subject to the same quality control measures. They may also lack the same level of investment in product development.
